Keller Williams Expands KW Cares® Support to Puerto Rico

Keller Williams Realty, LLC (KW), the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, has expanded the support of KW Cares^®, a 501(c)(3) public charity created to support KW-affiliated associates and their families, to Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory.

“KW Cares has always represented the best of who we are,” said Chris Czarnecki, CEO and president, KW. “Expanding that mission into Puerto Rico is about showing up where we’re needed most and ensuring our people have the support to keep moving forward, no matter the circumstances.”

As KW continues to expand into other official U.S. territories, KW Cares will also extend its support in those areas. Currently, its bylaws permit KW Cares to serve U.S.- and Canada-based associates who are affiliated with KW and their dependent family members.

“This expansion allows us to deliver faster, more localized support to our affiliated associates in Puerto Rico,” said Alexia Rodriguez, CEO of KW Cares. “Bringing KW Cares to Puerto Rico ensures our affiliated associates there have the same level of care, resources, and backing that defines our culture everywhere.”

Year-to-date, KW Cares has awarded 44 emergency grants and 33 catastrophic hardship grants to KW^® associates and their dependent family members facing financial hardship due to a sudden emergency.

In 2025, KW Cares awarded more than $3.2 million in grants and disaster relief.

“Our role is to stand alongside our affiliated associates and their families, providing support, stability, and a path forward when unexpected challenges arise,” said Rodriguez.

KW Cares has received the 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest recognition awarded to charitable organizations, from Candid, a nonprofit research group. KW Cares also maintains a Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator, the world’s largest nonprofit evaluator.

Since 2003, KW Cares has provided over $68.0 million in assistance through more than 7,400 grants to KW^® agents and families. KW Cares is funded primarily through KW^® agents who donate a portion of their real estate commissions.
