Charlotte, NC, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Citrus Peak LLC today launched Jobs in CLT, a local job board built specifically for the Charlotte metro area. The site is free for job seekers, with no paywall or account required to browse openings.
Most mainstream job platforms rely on automated aggregators that pull listings from across the web without checking if the jobs still exist. This results in dead links, duplicate posts, and listings for roles filled months earlier. Jobs in CLT handles listings manually. Every role added to the board is checked by a person to verify that the position is open and the employer is local.
“Finding a job locally has gotten harder because the sites people use are full of zombie postings,” said Steve Hunter, founder of Citrus Peak. “You apply for three jobs in an afternoon and later discover two of them closed in the spring. We built this to cut through that noise.”
Jobs in CLT also sends a weekly email of newly vetted openings and who’s actually hiring. Candidates can view listings and join the weekly list at jobsinclt.com. Charlotte employers can submit open roles directly through the site.
